Event No. 1:


Organisation of a presentation day for the Sciences Horizons Association (ASHO) to the
scientific community, held at IPEST (Institut Préparatoire des Etudes Scientifiques et de
Technologies) on 22 October 2022.
During this day, after the presentation of the association (ASHO) and its various
objectives, three (03) plenary conferences were held on the following topics:

1) ‘’Training for entrance examinations to engineering schools’’ presented by Prof. Manef
Abderrabba
2) ‘’Tools for promoting research and technology transfer’’ presented by Prof. Abdellatif
Boudabbous
3) ‘‘Evaluation and prospects for research in Tunisia’’ presented by Prof. Chedly
Abdelly

Organisation of the 1 st ASHO Congress entitled ‘Biodiversity, Food and Medicinal Plants’ in conjunction with the 4th International Congress of the Tunisian Association of
Microbial Ecology (ATEM) from 7 to 10 December 2023 at the Diar El Medina Hotel in
Hammamet.
• Number of participants: 150/250
• Number of plenary and guest lectures: 04/09
• Number of oral presentations: 44

• Number of posters: 32
• Awarded a prize for the best oral presentation in the amount of: 750 DT
• Awarded a prize for the best poster in the amount of: 500 DT

Organisation of the 1st International Congress ‘SPECTROMED -2024’ jointly with the TUNTWIN/H2020 Project under the coordination of Professor Houyem Abderrazak Snaini (National Institute for Physical and Chemical Research and Analysis (INRAP),from 21 to 25 April 2024 at the Solaria Hotel in Hammamet.

Event No. 4:

Organisation of a training day on ‘DRUG DESIGN’ in close collaboration with the academic staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Monastir, Prof. Meriem Laribi, Dr Rania Aouina, Dr. Radhouan MHIDI on 4 June 2024 at the ‘4C-FST’ training centre of the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis.

• Number of participants: 17 Doctors + 5 Lecturers-Researchers
• An introductory lecture on the theme of the workshop
• Duration of the specific training in DRUG DESIGN: 5 hours

Event No. 5:

Organization of a plenary lecture given by Professor Hamadi BEN JABALLAH on the theme: ‘Physics and Metaphysics in Newton's First Law’ on Thursday, 22 May 2025 at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis.

• A Lunch was organized on behalf of the Speaker and the Guests of the ‘Rationality and Freedom’ Group of the Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts – Beit El Hikma

Event No. 6:

Conferences and Student Workshops : AI Integration in Groundwater Suitability Analysis

The three-day event organized by ASHO began with a day of thematic conferences at the City of Sciences, led by invited speakers, providing an overview of the key topics and latest developments in the field. The following two days were dedicated to interactive workshops for university students at 4C-FST tunisia, offering hands-on experience and practical training directly related to t AI Integration in Groundwater Suitability Analysis. The program successfully combined theoretical insights with applied learning, fostering knowledge exchange and skill development.
